At Jungfrau you can join others, or just do your own thing. Our massive kitchen, prep and food storages areas allow you to prepare meals just as you would at home.  The mountain has a small, but well-stocked supermarket. Mansfield IGA also deliver to our door (for a small fee) should you require anything to be shipped up in advance or whilst you are there.

The large, dining room for meals is adjacent to the kitchen. You can share the conversation with other lodge guests or find your own quiet spot to eat your meals. The choice is yours !

We have many great restaurants on the mountain.  Our members and manager will be more than happy to guide you through the choices and make recommendations.

Recreation and Relaxation

We have one of the larger facilities on the mountain. There is lots of space to relax after a hard day of skiing.

Games Room

has been designed to relax, play cards, watch some TV or play board games. This room also has a Pool Table and Ping Pong table creating hours of endless fun.

Quiet Room

there’s nothing better after a long day on the slopes than to come back to the lodge and get cosy in front of the gas fireplace. Read a book or chat with friends with a glass of wine in hand. The Quiet Room also contains a small workstation for those who can’t quite get away from it. It is quiet enough for conference calls during the day.

Theatre Room

Theatre style seating with a TV (Includes a DVD player, WDTV & media player with USB input). Select from our range of DVD’s or bring your own.

Sauna and Spa

an additional shower block which includes a sauna and spa bath for you to relax those hard-worked muscles.

Kids

Our members and guests stay with kids of all ages. Your kids will love to stay at Jungfrau, making new friends and finding many ways to entertain themselves. Our kids treat our lodge like a second home, have lots of space to play and intermingle at all ages. Our lodge has high chairs and port-a-cots available for the younger ones, whilst the older ones can often be found outside building snowmen, snow fortresses and having snowball fights.

Other Facilities

The large drying room is perfect for drying those damp clothes and storing your gear. A “kid-friendly” hanging rack enables your children to gear-up and gear-down on their own. When you come back in the morning, your clothes are dry and warm, ready to hit the slopes. Staying longer? Jungfrau has a well equipped laundry room with washer and dryer.

Location

Jungfrau is located on Chamois Rd. It is a great area on Mount Buller, and our particular location enjoys:

  • Close by restaurants and bars – The Enzian and Alpine Retreat are on on the same street
  • Short walk to the village and Toboggan Run
  • Bus stop # 3 right across the road ensuring you get on the bus in the morning and go straight up to Ski School
  • Lydia Lassila run right at the end of the street. This run gives you access to the Southern Slopes (via Canyon Rope tows), meaning you can bypass the lift queues in the morning.
